The Great Barrier Reef stretches almost the entire coastline of Queensland Australia. Over 3000 reefs make up the 3000 kilometres of this diverse amazing wonderland . In 1770 little did Commander James Cook realise the popularity of this remote area of the world.
Today a million people a year visit and it has become World Heritage listed as one of the seven wonders of the world. Much discussed arguably the most diverse living thing on the planet and visible from outer space.
My personal choice of photographing the underwater world is a SLR in a housing with 18 or 28 ml lenses set at a 60th of a second generaly a slow film ….. as always press that button on the outward breadth. Below are some of my favourites in a recent visit.
